NMBA Digital Communication & Platform Use Policy
TeamSnap and GameChanger are official NMBA tools for communication, scheduling, and scorekeeping. This policy ensures these platforms are used in ways that reflect NMBA’s values of respect, teamwork, and community. It applies to all NMBA coaches, managers, players, parents, and volunteers.
General Expectations
All communication on TeamSnap and GameChanger must be respectful, constructive, and appropriate for a youth sports environment. These platforms are extensions of the ballpark — the same standards of conduct apply.
TeamSnap Guidelines
- Use TeamSnap for team-related updates, schedules, and coordination.
- Keep messages positive and relevant. Avoid sarcasm, profanity, or gossip.
- Group chats are for encouragement and logistics — not debate or venting.
- Coaches and managers are responsible for moderating team pages.
- Photos and highlights are welcome — celebrate effort and team spirit.
- Direct messages must follow the same respectful standards as public posts.
GameChanger Guidelines
- GameChanger is a digital scorekeeping tool. Use it accurately and professionally.
- Stats must be entered honestly and not altered after the game.
- Coaches are responsible for verifying pitch counts and game data.
- In 13U AA and below, players may only view their own stats.
- In 13U AAA and above, full team stats may be visible.
Privacy & Safety
- Do not share personal grievances, political content, or private team matters.
- All photos, videos, and stats must align with NMBA’s photo consent and privacy policies.
- Harassment or inappropriate messaging may result in disciplinary action.

By using TeamSnap or GameChanger, you agree to uphold NMBA’s standards of respectful communication, digital responsibility, and community values. You acknowledge that you understand that misuse may result in restricted access or disciplinary action.
