NMBA 9U Summer Allstars
9U DIVISION ALLSTAR SEASON
NMBA will form 9U Summer Travel Teams and Summer Local Teams.
Players must be registered and rostered to a Spring Ball team in order to be eligible to play Summer Ball as per BCMBA rules.
Practice times will start the 3rd week of June (at the end of Spring Ball) and the season continues through the August long weekend.
There will be an additional fee to for summer ball players. Fees will be different for the Travel Teams and the Local Teams.
9U Summer Travel Teams (maximum 2)
Tryouts will take place for these 2 teams. A maximum of 24 players will selected and divided into 2 summer travel teams.
These teams will practice 2-3 times per week and will have weekend games. These teams will not travel off island, all games will be on Vancouver Island. These teams will participate in the regional tournament in Duncan at the beginning of July. These teams will also participate in organizing and will play in the Annual NMBA 9U Summer Smash Tournament taking place on the August long weekend (info TBA). These teams will each roster a maximum of 12 players.
Note: Players who do not make a Travel Team will be assigned to a 9U Summer Local Team.

9U SUMMER ALLSTAR TRYOUT FEE: $20
9U Summer Local Teams (potentially 2 - 3 depending on coaches and player numbers)
Players interested in playing on the Local Summer do not have to attend tryouts. We request that you complete a form indicating that your player is interested in playing Local Summer Ball. We will be looking for Coaches for these teams and team numbers will be based on securing coaches for the teams. You can confirm your interest in coaching on the form as well.
Local Teams will practice 1 time and have 1 game per week and may have weekend games. These teams may carry more than 12 players.
