NMBA 18U Division
2026 Season Player Birth Years: 2008-2010
The 18U Division is about having fun playing recreational baseball. Players are expected to have fundamental baseball skills, know the rules, listen to their coaches, and be great teammates. Game play will be against other mid-island associations, concluding with playoffs in mid-June.
Registration for 2026 18U Spring baseball will be capped as a result of field availability. NMBA will roster a maximum one 18U Spring team with a maximum of 15 players. No teams will be rostered without a confirmed Head Coach volunteer. Players will be accepted to the Spring program based on date of registration (first-come, first-served), with preference given to players whose parents volunteer in a Head Coach or Assistant Coach capacity.
SPRING BALL INFORMATION
2026 Spring Ball Season will be 10 weeks: April 7 - June 13
The number of 18U House teams is dependent on the number of parent coaches and registration numbers. NMBA may limit player registration and/or use evaluations to select which players will make a team based on the number of available coaches. If we’re short coaches it is possible that some players will not be placed on a team and registration fees will be refunded.
Players should expect to be on the field 3 times per week. NMBA's home field for 18U is Mariner Field at 3rd Street Serauxman Sports Fields.
Coaches and players will set a practice schedule subject to field and player/coach availability. A game schedule will be developed in March with other Island associations.
